All orders are accepted by HIC HAEC HOC on the understanding that the terms and conditions and the privacy policy have been understood and accepted by you the customer/purchaser.

WHEN PLACING YOUR ORDER

When you the customer place your order, the vendor must receive payment in full before the order can be accepted. Please make sure all addresses are accurate and include the postal town and postal code/zip code, together with the recipient's telephone number. The vendor (HIC HAEC HOC) will not be responsible for late or non-delivery where delivery address is missing or inaccurate.

 

BESPOKE ORDERS

If ordering bespoke or commissioned items, you will be emailed artwork prior to manufacture, Once you have approved artwork you are 100% committed to purchasing the item and paying delivery costs. You will be invoiced and asked to pay in advance of production.  Please note that there are NO REFUNDS for bespoke/commissioned orders.

PRICES

Prices shown on our website are full price inclusive of VAT.

 

ORDERS

We are pleased to accept online order transactions via secure server. All transactions are processed via Pay Pal. Customers can also pay using a credit / debit card, these will be processed via a secure system and are subject to validation checks and all payments authorised by the card issuer.  If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay and / or non-delivery of your order. No orders will be accepted or processed without a valid card payment in the name of the registered cardholder.

 

MAKING A PURCHASE

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our products, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the Shopping Cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Cart' button and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to fulfil the order.

PRODUCTS, PRICES AND CONTENT

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the pictures and colours depicted on the site match as closely as possible those of the actual product due to technical limitations, some colours may vary. All prices are shown in pound sterling (£) and are inclusive of UK VAT at the current rate unless clearly stated. Prices, product descriptions and specifications are checked to the best of our ability, and whilst every effort has been made to make them accurate, no responsibility will be accepted for errors and omissions. Any information displayed on our web site or other printed matter by the company is not regarded to be authoritative or certified as the best practice and is only considered to be useful supplementary advice to other certified codes of practice. All information on our web site is updated regularly. We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.

 

OWNERSHIP OF GOODS

All items supplied to the customer remain the property of Hic Haec Hoc until final payment of all sums owing in respect of those goods has been received in full by us.

In order to comply with GDPR consent requirements, we need you to confirm whether or not you would like to receive marketing information on new products, events and special offers/sales from Hic Haec Hoc  in the future. We will collect any personal data that you may volunteer whist using our services, ie placing an order. The type of information that we will collect will include - Your title and name, known address, contact telephone numbers, e-mail address, order details. Payment details/ debit and credit card information is handled via Paypal, HSBC or Worldpay.  Personal details may be forwarded securely to other parties in order to fulfil this order only. These will include delivery and payment partners. You can opt out of receiving further information at any time, either by writing or emailing us. Individuals registering their details online may do so on the understanding that they are aware of the intended purpose for the collection of data. DELIVERY

Orders are despatched as standard on a three-five working day service, but please allow seven working days for delivery.  As standard, deliveries are sent by Royal Mail Signed For 2nd class service but on occasion a alternative courier service may be used. The vendor will arrange for delivery of the goods to the address you specify for delivery in your order. In the event that we are unable to achieve this which may result in delay your delivery, we will email you with an expected delivery date or the option to cancel your order. Requests for alternative delivery methods (eg 1st class post, next day delivery etc) must be pre-approved and agreed in writing or direct email by Hic Haec Hoc and you will be charged for additional costs incurred.  Beyond your statutory rights Hic Haec Hoc can not be held responsible for any delivery delays or goods lost or damaged in transit by third party organisations or companies.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

If you are not completely satisfied with your product, please send your return to us within 30 days, with tag attached where applicable and unused. and we will be happy to exchange or refund your purchase. We can only refund delivery costs where an item is faulty or an error has been made on our part. We recommend you use a recorded delivery service or retain proof of posting as we can not be held responsible for items that get lost on their way back to us. Orders are sent out with a packing slip which has the returns address or alternatively contact us by email and we will provide you with the appropriate address (info@hichaechoc.co.uk).  See RETURNS section for further information.

 

RESPONSIBILITY

Hic Haec Hoc cannot be held responsible for any disruptions to our services that are beyond our reasonable control. We will do everything in our power to correct any disruption to our service. We believe that our photographs show our products as accurately portrayed as possible, however colours of products supplied may differ slightly in appearance due to the colour representation of each computer monitor. Hic Haec Hoc can not be held responsible for marginal differences in products supplied.
