ARE HIC HAEC HOC MUGS DISHWASHER AND MICROWAVE SAFE?

Bone china is made from 40% bone ash.  This makes strong yet thin china products that are microwave and dishwasher safe. However, please note that rough handling (as would be the case with any bone china item) may result in chips, cracks or breakages.

MUG SIZES

Hic Haec Hoc sells mugs in two different sizes: Large or Small. Price for large mug is £12.95 and small mugs (depending on the printing method dictated by the design) are either £10.00 or £7.50 (price quoted on each individual listing).

HOW DO YOU PLACE AN ORDER?

 Simply add your chosen product to the shopping cart, then proceed to checkout.  You can alter/edit  the product list prior to paying.  To pay follow the on-line prompts. The online shop operates via Paypal secure system, you can pay using your Paypal account or you can pay by credit or debit card by using the PAY AS A GUEST option. 

 

BESPOKE DESIGNS

It is possible to get bespoke designs and slogans made.  Artwork is drawn up and sent to the customer for pre-approval prior to manufacture. However, please note that once artwork is approved, customers are invoiced for the full amount and at this point are 100% committed/obliged to purchase the item/s.  There are no refunds for bespoke designs (unless item is faulty).  Products available for bespoke designs include: coasters, mugs, placemats, hip flasks and keyring hip flasks (notepads are possible but there is a minimum order quantity of 100 units per design so usually impractical unless ordering for a group or by a retailer).  Please enquire via the CONTACT page.

CAN I MAKE A PURCHASE WITHOUT BUYING ON LINE?

It is possible to pay by debit/credit card by telephone, however please note that this is not a dedicated service so your call may not be answered immediately and it may take a while to set up the payment via the necessary secure payment system. Please call 07899 821647 between 9am - 6pm, Monday to Friday (UK GMT only).  It may transpire that we need to organise a mutually convenient time to process the order/payment.  If you wish to pay by Paypal transfer or invoice, or by cheque or BACS, please email info@hichaechoc.co.uk (or use the CONTACT page) and we will be able to provide you with banking details or a postal address to send your cheque to (please note that you will then need to wait 5 - 10 days for your cheque to clear prior to the goods being despatched). 

 

DELIVERIES

 Delivery charges are calculated and added on at checkout stage. Charges are based on weight and destination and incorporates postage and packing fees. We aim to despatch items from the fulfilment centre as quickly as possible (usually within 2 - 5 working days). You will be notified within 24 hours of placing the order via email or letter if there are significant delays or if products ordered are out of stock. In most cases items are posted by Royal Mail Signed For 2nd class service on a 2- 3 working day delivery service, however, on occasion packages may be sent by home delivery courier service.  Current delivery charges - UK only - £5.95 for a small parcel weighing under 2 kilos, medium and large parcels cost more. For overseas orders please select destination country from list on checkout page.  Please note delivery charges to overseas destinations can be expensive. Special requests or next day delivery please email Hic Haec Hoc (via the CONTACT page) and we'll be able to advise whether or not we can accomodate your request. Please note there may be additional charges for special requests and next day delivery.

RETURNS

Terms and conditions apply, however, generally speaking we can only accept returned items which are faulty, damaged or not as expected. Goods must be returned within 30 days of purchase/invoice date. Any returned item must be supplied with your name, address and contact information (if possible invoice number too) and basic explanation of why goods are being returned. Cost of returning goods is customer's own responsibility. Please refer to RETURNS section. Please note that items purchased on 'sale' or factory seconds are non returnable/refundable (they have all been coded with a magic marker to enable swift recognition). Also, bespoke items; once artwork approved, are non refundable/returnable and invoice price must be paid in fulll.

WHY DO PHOTOS LOOK FUZZY OR GRAINY?

The images on the website are low resolution 72 dpi (dots per inch). This can sometimes result in some images appearing a little fuzzy or grainy. The low resolution ensures speedy upload of images (the more pixels/dots an image has, the longer it takes to upload on to the website).  Rest assured that products themselves are all high quality items and that all printed elements will have a clean/crisp/sharp finish.

 

DO YOU GIFT WRAP?

At the moment we are unable to offer a gift wrapping service.​
